To give you an idea of how big it is, the box measures 29cm wide, 21cm deep and 21.5cm high. Not too big that you\u2019ll struggle to find a place to put it (can easily fit on a shelf or ledge), but large enough to be of practical use.<\/p>\n
A single box should be enough for the average size family, but you can get a second one if you need more space for your medicines. And it\u2019s not just suitable for human medicines; some customers have bought to store their pet\u2019s medicines and first aid items.<\/p>\n
2. Two-Tier Interior With Removable Tray<\/h3>\n
To make use of all that space, the Harbour Housewares first aid box is divided into two levels using a removable tray. So you can easily categorise your supplies for easy access.<\/p>\n
For instance, bandages and first aid items at the bottom and tablets and medicines at the top. Or medicines for adults in one level and those for your kids in the other. The tray itself is further divided into three compartments of varying sizes.<\/p>\n
Having a removable tray means you can easily store taller bottles like antiseptic sprays without an issue. Just remove the tray and use the box without it.<\/p>\n
3. Lightweight Metal Construction<\/h3>\n
The Harbour Housewares medicine box is made from metal, which gives it that beautiful industrial look. It also makes the first aid box more durable.<\/p>\n
Don’t worry, the first aid box is not heavy at all. The metal is lightweight with the empty box only weighing 1.5kg. You can easily move it around the house, even when full of supplies.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s also portable enough to carry with you when travelling (though we recommend buying a smaller travel-size first aid box if you travel frequently).<\/p>\n
The metal is powder coated to protect it from corrosion. So you can safely put it in your bathroom.<\/p>\n

It combines a vintage and industrial style that goes particularly well with vintage, industrial or farmhouse decor. But it can blend in any kind of space, whether modern, minimalist or eclectic.<\/p>\n
You can choose from three colours: cream, black and grey. So you can pick the one that looks best in your kitchen or bathroom.<\/p>\n
How Easy Is It To Use?<\/h2>\n
The Harbour Housewares first aid box comes already assembled, so you can start using it immediately. It comes with a tight-fitting lid that opens easily. A moulded handle on the lid provides an easy way to carry the first aid box around. With the lid open, you can easily lift the top tray to access the bottom of the box.<\/p>\n
We also love that the box comes with a large stamped \u2018First Aid\u2019 label at the front, so everyone will know what it is. That\u2019s particularly useful in an emergency.<\/p>\n
One\u00a0 issue we have with the box is that it\u2019s not child-proof. It\u2019s not lockable and a child can easily open the lid. You\u2019ll need to store the box high up where a child cannot reach it.<\/p>\n
A few customers have also said the thin metal dents too easily. In fact, some people received theirs already dented. So treat it with care. We don’t recommend it if you are looking for a travel first aid box to take with you on road trips, camping and other adventures. Get something a bit more rugged.<\/p>\n
But for home use, it\u2019s great.<\/p>\n
